Hot forging allows to obtain parts having very high mechanical characteristics without extrusions and blowholes in the aluminium fibres, (such as may occur in the pressure casting technology) in as much that the aluminium is forged in its solid state at a temperature of approximately 500°C that is reached inside specially constructed conveyor furnaces.
